This is a story about Greg Heffley and Rowley Jefferson about their summer holidays.The book is quite interesting from the very beginning to the end. Greg and Rowley spend their time in the country pool and the amount was large. When the owner came to Greg's house with the bill .Greg's mom asks him to pay by his own. Then, both the friends starts a Lawn mowing job but they do not get enough money. At that time, Greg insists Rowley he should also do the work. Rowley gets angry ans he quits the friendship. But Rowley's parents hard works to remake their friendship into life by taking Greg to beaches.their house etc. At last Rowley's parents makes another friend to Rowley who does the exact habits of Greg by the insistence of Rowley's parents. What I liked most in this book is the cartoon pictures.
The book is written in the exact form of diary. I took it from my library and I like it because the cover page is awesome. The book is divided into 3 parts in the form of months. I like the July month the most . It has a total of 221 pages and costs Rs.200. What I understand from this story is friend is the third parent of every human. I hope you will like this book .
