WELL BEGUN, HALF DONE...
(Report of the
Readers’ Club Activity conducted on 05-04-2013 )
It was a fruitful start for a new
Academic Year. The club activities started with an Introductory Session. Then,
Mujeeb Sir and Rugmini Madam briefed us about the Reader’s Club blog and the
different activities which were going to be conducted during the course of the
Academic Year.
The most interesting part was the
election of the Club Secretary. The students who were interested to contest for
the post were asked to put up their hands. Immediately a bunch of hands went up. From the girls’ side it was two, and there
were 4 contestants from the boys’ side. Then
came the twist of the day!!!. We all thought that the election would go on as
usual, that is, students would be allowed to put up their hands for their favourite
contestant. But to our surprise, Sir
announced that the election was going to be conducted online. The students who
were standing for the post were allowed to campaign which made it all the more
awesome.
ACTIVITY FOR THE DAY
Mujeeb Sir read out an amazing story
from the Reader’s Digest. All were told to listen carefully. And when the time
of the suspense came, he closed the book. We were like – “Oh my god !....now
what would have happened to the protagonist???” The task given to us was to
knit an ending to this story. All are eagerly waiting for the next Friday to
reveal their ideas.
Looking forward to such
activities in the future too.
