 This is the first book that i am reading in the tintin's collection.I really loved reading this book.

 The story goes like this- Tintin and Snowy are on a cruise to Egypt when they happen to meet Professor Sophocles Sarcophagus and join his expedition. But they become embroiled in a complicated scheme involving a fakir, cigars marked with an unusual brand, and Rajijah, the poison of madness. Most significantly, Tintin meets the detectives Thompson and Thomson as well as the movie mogul Rastapopolous.

Best of Faiz{Classics of Urdu poetry}
Author-Faiz Ahmed Faiz
Translator-Kuldeep Salil

This is a poetry book and Faiz Ahmed Faiz is one of the most famous contemporary Urdu poets of the Twentieth century. After reading his collection of poems I felt that his poetry appeals to both common man and the richer sections of the society. Many of his poems are in vernacular language which appeals for common man. This book is a collection of his selected poems in which he describes the eternal and everlasting beauty of his lover and sorrow of missing her in one of the poems. The verse includes her eyes filled with beauty and the air which contains her body fragrance. He also remembers the hours of separation with her. This is an excellent collection of poetry and the style of writing is also very nice. I hope you all will surely read the book.

This is a poetry book.The sources are valid and different in form of structure with the last three being song collections.The original idea of the poem is a bit difficult to understand.Each and every line of this poem shows Tagore's handing of words.He truely tries to express the inexpressible.After reading this poem it is clear that Rabindranath Tagore is social,political,religious and aesthetic thinker in education and a champion of the one world idea which makes him live in the present.

The story of my life is the autobiography of Helen Keller.When she was a baby she was left blind,deaf and almost mute after an illness.Her early life was simple and being the first child in her family she was loved by all.Since her parents were very supportive they thought of the need of educating her.This was also due to her intense desire to express herself.Anne Sullivan,her teacher's arrival filled Helen with expectation.The story is all about teaching Helen by Miss Helen.This story also stresses the difficulties faces by a deaf and blind children in studying.The values that can be drawn from Helen is of that of determination,hard work and perseverance.I hope you all will surely read the book.

review- few things left unsaid

Few things left unsaid.

The first book of Sudeep Nagarkar and published by Srishti publishers. The 231 pages contained are full of romance. This is the love story of Aditya and Riya.

The protagonist was not interested in engineering but end up in doing it due to his parents’ compulsion. But this leads him to meet Riya. They fall in love. During the 1st year they were deeply in love. This book is not just a plain love story. Some unexpected twists and turns happen during the 2nd year.  The key line in this book is -
“Some love stories cannot be predicted!!”
And also it tells us that
Few things should be left unsaid!”

I think that the ending was a perfect one. But the author left me in a dilemma after reading the epilogue by ‘leaving a few things unsaid’.
 But I liked this book very much. The book is not a mere fiction; it is based on author’s own experiences which gives life to the book.

If you are tempted to know what really happened, there is no other way than to grab the book. So I hope you’ll grab it soon.
