The Great Mughals

Today, as I entered the library, during the library period, I returned the book that I issued recently. It was ' The Great Mughals'. The book was published by Amar Chitra Katha.
I issued this book because it helps us to understand the happenings in the period of the Mughals very easily. It explains everything through picture stories. It explained the life of the five great Mughals, that is, the life of all powerful Mughals, except that of Aurangazeb.
There is a simple way to remember the chronological order of the Mughal Emperors- BHAJSA
B - Babur
H - Humayun
A - Akbar
J - Jahangir
S - Shah Jahan
A - Aurangazeb

It is so adventurous.I liked it very much.Full of thrills.Nice story of investigation.

This book is a fiction written by Ruskin Bond. It is published by Penguin Groups. It was first published in the year 2011. It is printed at Repro.

The author, Ruskin Bond lives in Dehra. He studies in a boarding school at Simla. He usually comes to Dehra to see his mother and enjoy the winter holidays. He is a little detective.

The author likes to see movies in the theatre when he comes to Dehra. He explains most part of his life in this book. His mother works in Green's hptel. The hotel got this name not because it had greenary all round but because the hotel's owner's name was Mr.Green.He died in a crash in the sea.

Ruskin loves to hear music ande read books. HE likes to know more about the world.
I loved this book. But some part of this book is not good. Otherwise, its an outstanding book with full of climaxes. I liked it.

Rugmini mam had suggested me this book in our class last year which is written by Roald Dahl. These books are very superb and interesting and this was one of the reasons for me to take this book and another reason is that I did not read this book earlier. Madam had also suggested the crime series of Agatha Christie, the books of  R K Narayan and many others.

The BFG is a very kind hearted soul and also a pure vegetarian giant. He was very soft with good habits. He has a big ear at one of his sides and hence with the help of this he used to catch dreams. Actually he was a dream catching giant he took Sophie along with him when he finds her to catch dreams. I would like to have a ear such as the BFG so that I could detect the smallest of sounds and even tiny creature movements. BFG and Sophie did many expeditions and once they had to face the nine deadly and fearsome giants. The giants had galloped off to England and they informed the king about this and the queen did not believe at once but as Sophie narrated the whole story the queen believed it and the giants were beaten up and the story has a realistic end.

Thank you Roald Dahl for another wonderful book....................
This is only a book review but the actual essence of the story can be felt only while reading this
Exciting book by Roald Dahl

71+10 New Science Project

Name of the book: 71+10 New Science Project
Publication: Pustak Mahal
Written by: Dr. C.L. Garg and Dr.Amit Garg.
Price: 120 Rupees
Content: 81 Science projects

The best book of science experiments I had read. This was an awesome book with 81 experiment altogether. Initially, to do the experiments was very easy with not much material required. But the principle used was very complex.

I did many splendid experiments such as needle floating on water due to surface tension and how to make a hovercraft. Hovercraft is a vehicle which neither touches ground nor touches water. It moves on a cushion of air. There is also a CD of these experiments but I didn’t got it. I thank the authors for writing such a beneficial book.

There were illustrations in the end of every experiment. There were pictorial illustrations and circuit diagram. The last few experiments are a little complex. Those experiments were for higher class students. The material needed was also a little complex like transistors, capacitors, resistance etc. The surface tension experiment was the most interesting experiment. I could float a needle and safety pin on water with my hands. It was very surprising experiment. I hope I can do the last few experiments with the help of my father.
