THE BOY IN THE STRIPED PYJAMAS - Book Review

It is a sad and twisted story, and I was shocked by the climax of the story. This story is about a boy named Bruno and his family with his sister named Gretel whose age is thirteen elder than Bruno who is nine. Gretel always fights with Bruno telling about their age difference and ordering things from Bruno, which he feels very disturbing and irritating. He had a good round of friends and he feels very happy but his happiness is gone when his father got transferred to a far place.

So they changed to that place i.e, now in “Berlin” changing to “out with”. When he reached there,  he missed his friends but as he expected he didn’t get a new friend there nor a neighbour. Finally, he got a new friend named Shmuel. Slowly, he forgot his old friends and got adjusted to his new house and his best friend. Suddenly his mother told him that they are going back to “Berlin”. After that, a twist happened and the story ends. A very sad story that we can’t expect the twist at last.
