This story is very interesting and it touches one's heart.This story is all about a young married couple, Jim and Della who take pride in their possessions,Della's beautiful long hair and Jim's gold watch which had belonged to his father and grandfather.They challenge themselves of buying Christmas gifts for each other but they have only little money left with them.Della loves her husband very much and decides to sell her hair, she finds a platinum fob chain for Jim's watch.Likewise Jim also loves his wife very much and decides to sell his watch to buy combs for his loving wife.When Jim reaches home, Della tells him that she sold her hair in order to buy gift for him and shows her gift but she was shocked to hear that,he also sold his watch to buy gift for her.At last they are now left with the gifts that neither one can use but they realise, how far they are willing to show their love.
I like this book because the language used in this book is very easy to understand and moreover it's a wonderful story.So I request you to read this book.....
