Well,really Mr. Twiddle is a wonderful story by Enid Blyton and published by Deans International. Mr.Twiddle is one of the major characters in the books of the author.It tells about the story of an idle couple namely Mr.Twiddle and Mrs.Twiddle and their cat.It is about Mr.Twiddle's memory loss as he was old.The book has numerous stories about his troubles.The best of it was 'Mrs.twiddle's umbrella'.The story starts when he goes out ,he took his wife's umbrella without knowing her because it was raining and forget it somewhere.When the wife goes out wearing her rain coat she saw her umbrella and took it away with her.Now our poor Mr. Twiddle remembers the umbrella and search for it.He founds that a women was carrying his umbrella.He followed her and complains to Mr. Plod,the police and then Mr Plod asks about the umbrella to the women,she says that this was my umbrella,Mr Twiddle realizes that it was his wife and escapes from there without knowing Mr.Plod and his wife.When he came back home fully wet,saw that Mrs.twiddle had already been there and was anxious to tell her husband about the umbrella thief 

Poor Mrs.Twiddle,she don't know what actually happened.
