The Silver Chair is the sixth book in the Chronicles Of Narnia series written by C S Lewis. This book is the fourth book in the written order but is the sixth book in the reading order recommended by C S Lewis. The protagonists of the book are Eustace Scrubb, Jill Pole and Puddleglum the marsh-wiggle.

The story happens seventy years after the Voyage of The Dawn Treader. The book starts with Eustace and Jill in their Experiment House. Eustace tells Jill about his adventures in Narnia and he and Jill tries to find a way of going back there. They reach a cliff and suddenly Eustace lost his balance and falls off. And Jill finds herself face to face with Aslan himself  who tells her that she and Eustace would have to find Prince Rilian who is lost. Then she finds herself in Narnia. There she finds Eustace and with some owls help they escape form the castle to find Rilian. Then they meet a marsh-wiggle named Puddleglum who agrees to help them in this voyage. After that most of the story takes place with giants, gnomes and the lady of the Green Kirtle. The book is written in simple English and it is written in a way in which the reader never feels bored at any point. Read this book to know how the quest goes on and what actually happened to Prince Rilian.
