Sadako and the thousand paper cranes.

Sadako and the thousand paper cranes.
Author: Eleanor Coerr
Publisher: puffin

This was the most touching story I had ever read that can even bring tears to the cold hearted. It is a biography of a courageous girl named sadako who is celebrated as the heroine of Japan. It is translated from Japanese to English by Eleanor coerr. She has made each sentence in it to come to life. This is a short, well versed story which will make everyone understand the true meaning of world peace. It will teach us to always believe in ourselves and never give up. I have got only two words to say about this book 'influential' and 'unforgettable'.Sadako is a hyper active child who wants to become a part of the high school racing team. When all was going well sadako and her family finds out that she has leukemia caused by the atomic radiation because of the atom bomb dropped at Japan. What will happen? , will she die? How can thousand paper cranes be related to this? Can she fulfill her dream of joining the race
team? Read and find out! Peace!!!!
