Mahabharata
The Mahabharata is the longest poem in the world. It consists of approximately 2,20,000 lines divided into eighteen sections. It was originally written in Sanskrit. It consists of 1,00,000 verses or shloks .We all have seen our grandparents reading Mahabharata in our house. My grandmother told me the story briefly once but I wanted to know the whole story .This book gave me some idea about the war between The Pandavas and the Kauravas .The best of the book is when Pandavas and Kauravas go to gurukula for mastering Vedas and to become the best warriors. This is a book that all Indian should read. Another important part of this story is the Bhagvad Gita has become the basis of the Hindu religion. It teaches human beings to do their karma or duty and not worry about the result. The duty is to do good and fight against that which is evil. The bhagvad is an important guide to live of goodness according to the true values of life.
