King Ottokar’s Sceptre

This is eight book of The Adventures of Tintin written by the famous author Herge. The story begins with a briefcase left on a park bench. The case belongs to Professor Alembick, a sigillographer(a specialist in the study of stamps and wax seals).Tintin returns the briefcase to the professor and joins him on a trip to Syldavia. In Syldavian tradition, the king maintains his power by presenting the royal sceptre of his ancestor, King Ottokar, to his people on Saint Vladimir's Day each year. Some people plans to steal the sceptre and force the king to cancel the traditional ceremony. These men are working for Borduria,a neighboring country.

It is a nice book and is really a thrilling adventurous book.It is published by Egmount Publishers. The story is accompanied with nice pictures which makes it easy to understand.I hope all my friends will read and enjoy this wonderful book.
