This is one of the books that the entire teenager's of India were waiting for. This is the third book I have read written by Chetan Bhagat and I am happy that I was the first one in my school to read this book. The thing that amazed me was that my mother brought and gave me this book without even asking for it. Chetan Bhagat is a writer who always catches his readers mind and I think he has done a fair amount of good work to write this novel. Ask you can see from the title itself anyone can guess this deals with girlfriends which means love and also it is a Chetan product which has to have some bit of love in it. The main protagonists of this novel are Madhav Jha and Riya Somani. Madhav is a Bihari state basketball player who has applied to St.Stephan's college in Delhi. He meets Riya Somani another basketball player who he gives some tips and falls in love at sight but Riya just wanted to be friends with Madhav. Madhav tries hard to convey to her that he loves her. at last riya agrees to be his half girlfriend but Madhav wanted her to be his full girlfriend, that decision of his changed his calm nature he started asking opinions from his friends and called riya to his room in the boy's hostel will his choice of calling riya was wrong or helped him with his affair. You have to find this by yourself. The author has written in simple language and the writing flow is amazing which helps us to read this whole story without stopping and I guess my classmates and all readers will find this book amazing.
