Today, our students embarked on a remarkable virtual journey to the heart of Morocco! As part of our Know the World Series aiming to cultivate global awareness, the library hosted an exclusive interaction with Mr. Aziz Maruan, English Teacher, Dhar Bin Ayad HS Chefchaouen and Fulbright Scholar from Morocco. The session, held at 12:50 PM IST, was an unforgettable cultural experience for everyone involved.

The virtual journey transported our students through Morocco’s enchanting landscapes . Mr. Maruan presented a beautiful picture of Morocco’s diverse regions, sharing fascinating insights about its rich history and vibrant traditions. He described the unique blend of Arab, Berber, and European influences that shape Moroccan life today.
What made this session truly remarkable was the interaction that followed. Students were encouraged to ask questions, and they utilised the time with enthusiasm! From curious queries about traditional Moroccan food, famous tourist attractions, local customs and festivals, to questions about student life, schools, and the Moroccan weather the question hour turned out be an amazing experience
Mr. Aziz answered each question with remarkable patience and a warm, engaging smile, bringing Morocco alive for our students. It was something that the textbooks cannot achieve.
We are grateful to Mr. Aziz Maruan for generously sharing his time, and to our students for their keen interest and thoughtful questions.
