The Magic of The Lost Earrings

The book is from the Nooni series and I was really excited to read it The book is about an earring which was found in Nooni's bag when she was touring around North India with her grandparents.she knew it would not be kind if she didn't find the rightful person of the earrings she told her ajja and ajji who also were very interested to find the owner they went to different people to find clues about the owner and found some but thenthey came to know that there was high possibility that the family may be in London . They were disappointed but then Nooni had a programme of kuchipudi in London which was to showcase the heritage of India and her grandparents were also going to London to see Nooni's aunty Radha. So they thought this may be a good chance .
As soon as Nooni finished her program they found the way to contact them and held a date to meet .when they saw them and asked if they had lost anything the old women said yes and started telling her sorrow that it was a gift exchanged by her and her friend when they parted their ways during India and Pakistan partition she was really sad that she had lost them .
The story is mostly about the partition and the life the people involved had and the difficulties they faced . The book also has a lot about different areas of London and India's heritage and stories . Overall it was a very nice experience.
