This is a poetry book and Faiz Ahmed Faiz is one of the most
famous contemporary Urdu poets of the Twentieth century. After reading his
collection of poems I felt that his poetry appeals to both the common man and the richer
sections of society. Many of his poems are in a vernacular language that
appeals to the common man. This book is a collection of his selected poems in
which he describes the eternal and everlasting beauty of his lover and the sorrow
of missing her in one of the poems. The verse includes her eyes filled with
beauty and the air which contains her body fragrance. He also remembers the
hours of separation from her. This is an excellent collection of poetry and the
style of writing is also very nice. I hope you all will surely read the book.
