The Adventures Of Feluda The Emperor's Ring is the first book in the wonderful series The Adventures Of Feluda written by the Bengali director Satyajit Ray. This is a series of 12 books which all revolve around the Private Sleuth Feluda (Pradosh Chandra Mitter) and his friends. The protagonists of the book are Feluda, Topshe, Monobihari Babu, Dr Srivastava and Dhiru Kaka.

Being the first of the ever exciting series, one comes to know of the habits of Feuda and his likes and dislikes form this book. Also it also tells us of Tapesh's habits as well. The entire book is written in the first person, so it is easier to imagine the book. The book is narrated by Tapesh. The story starts when Topshe agrees to go to Lucknow with his father and Feluda. When they reach there they are greeted by Dhiru Kaka, a frend of their father. Then Dr Srivastava comes to tell of a burglary that happened in his house. All of them are worried that the attempt was to steal the precious ring of the doctor, which was a token of gratitude from Pyarelal Seth for saving his only son. And the great thing about that ring was that  it once belonged to the great Mughal ruler Aurangzeb. And of course, the ring gets stolen. And our sleuth, Felu starts investigating. The writing style of the author is one which grabs hold of the reader and does not let go until the entire book is finished. Some history of the place is also written in the book but not so much as to lose the effect of the book. Also the places of importance are also told in this book. Who stole the ring? How does Felu solve the mystery? Read this wonderful book to find out!
