At the age of 17, Ruskin Bond went to live in Jersy, Channel Islands. His first job is clerk in a lawyer’s office. Ruskin Bond left that work for a well-known travel agency, which he had decided to set up a small branch office in Channel Islands.
His third job is carrying pay packets down to workers in islands ancient sewers.
Ruskin Bond’s book named ‘Rain in the mountains’ is about his life in Himalaya. Ruskin Bond was born on May 19, 1934 in Mussorie , India. This book brings together some of most beautiful works from his years spent in the foothills of Himalayas. This book is a collection of poems, essays, snippets of the author’s life spend in various hamlets of the Himalayas. It was beautifully written so much, so I loved this book very much!!!
