The Adventures Of Tintin Explores on the Moon is the seventeenth of the sleuth's comic series by the Belgian Cartoonist Herge. This is the second part of a two part adventure and continues the story from Destination Moon.

The protagonists of the book are Tintitn, Professor Calculus, Captain Haddock, Snowy and Thomson and Thompson. In this book the rocket has taken off from Earth and is heading towards the moon with Tintin, Snowy, Captain, Professor and Wolf on board. But after some time enters Thomson and Thompson making a wonderful entrance by thinking that the launching time was 2:14 pm and not am. And they keep on growing hair to add to the trouble of the five due to the energy increasing formula they accidentally ate. (Please refer to Island Of Black Gold). Then after a few difficult situations they reach the moon ad the give Tintin the lifetime opportunity of being the first man to step on the moon. During their expedition , a dangerous secret of Wolf is revealed and a crook emerges from the hood of the rocket.  The coming part is really exciting and it is not something that can be expressed through words. Therefore read this book to get a taste of the adventures that Tintin has. And understanding the book won't be a problem as the simple language is supplemented with pictures.
