WONDER BOOK REVIEW

WONDER is a wonderful book”. It is a spectacular book of R.J. Palacio published by Alfred A Knopf. The book consists of 320 pages of emotional journey. This book contains an additional chapter named the Julian chapter in which a new controversial character named Julian talks to us. This is a story of a boy named August who is 10 years old, who behaves like a normal boy of that age but the only problem is that he will look normal only after 27 operations. Wonder is about something that we don't like to talk about because it is so rare and so sad. But August is a boy who can't be hushed into silence or invisibility in his world, simply because of the way he looks. This book gives a realistic look of August in our mind through the language used. The book begins with a sentence which touches the heart of the readers;

"My name is August. I won't describe what I look like. Whatever you're thinking, it’s probably worse."

After reading this book I am sure that everyone will be in love with Auggie Pullman. Everyone must read this book as this book clearly states the truth that we cannot walk away from sad truths; we owe this to people who have similar problems like August. I consider it to be equally good for boys and girls. I think that Wonder deserves to be an international bestseller as it will hasp everyone who reads it. It is a bold, brilliant book that is well worth reading by anyone who is prepared to be amazed and can appreciate a good book!  Thank you….
