Journey to the Centre of the Earth - Jules Verne: A review by Jafsa, Class X B

Journey to the Centre of the Earth

Journey to the center of the earth is written by Jules Verne. It is published by Adarsh Enterprises. This book has 240 pages.

This is a story about a boy named Harry. He had an uncle named Professor Hardwigg who was very educated and brilliant at chemistry, geology, philosophy, etc... He got a note written by Arne Saknussemm who had gone to the centre of the earth. So, uncle also had an idea to go to the centre of the earth. Uncle asked Harry to accompany him in the journey. He also called Hans who was brave, clever, intelligent and fair. They started their journey on July 1st and ended on 9th October. They faced many difficulties. They had been living for hours and hours without getting water, they were off to die. They found many new new things that they had never seen before.

In this book, I liked the part when Harry was lost and the difficulties that they face to find him. This book is releases as a movie also in the same titile : The Journey To The Centre Of The Earth.

This is a very adventurous book. I liked this book very much. Those who like adventure will definetly like this book also.

Jafsa, X
